I’m a provisional psychologist and artist based on the Mid-North Coast of New South Wales, Australia.
I have tertiary qualifications in psychology and visual art with extensive applied experience in both fields.
I’m currently undertaking a practical internship to become a fully registered psychologist while maintaining a daily studio art practice.
I completed a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) from 1997 to 2000 directly after completing high school. Since then, I’ve gained almost 20 years professional work experience in roles related to psychology in the fields of psychology research, employment services, child protection and disability support.
In 2018, I decided to upgrade my psychology qualifications. From 2019 to 2021, I’m undertaking a practical internship (known as the 4 + 2 program) to become a fully registered psychologist. In my current role, I provide individualised psychological support to young people age 12 to 25 years located across the Mid-North Coast. Find out more about my psychology work here.
I began making art in 2001 at ceramics class at a community college. From 2006 to 2009 I completed a Bachelor of Visual Arts (Honours) at Sydney College of the Arts, University of Sydney. I majored in the Jewellery and Object studio.
Since 2007, I’ve presented five solo shows, curated 10 exhibition projects, and had pieces included in 35 group exhibitions. My multi-media artwork has included drawing, sculpture, installation, photography, videos, jewellery and objects.
My current art practice primarily involves experimental drawing. I also like to mix things up by taking part in daily making challenges using any medium or material in response to a prompt. View my recent artwork here. View my full art CV here.
